Brennan Phillips


Brennan Phillips received his B.S. in Ocean Engineering from the University of Rhode Island, and is an engineering technician on the HERCULES ROV system. He has worked on HERCULES since his senior year at URI, and participated in last summer’s NOAA cruise to the Titanic. Brennan is also a graduate student at the University of Connecticut, pursuing a Master’s degree in biological oceanography. His research interests include pelagic gelatinous zooplankton, with a focus on Antarctic salps. Brennan hopes to combine his technological skills and experience with his research in marine biology.
