Chris Keats

Graduate Student, Memorial University of Newfoundland - Marine Institute 

Chris Keats is a Demonstrator in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing at the Marine Institute in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. During his career at the Marine Institute Chris has focused mostly on sustainable fish harvesting and conservation. Now he is completing a Masters degree in Environmental Science with focus on Acoustic Seabed Classification. Chris has special interests in using ASC data for assistance with fisheries habitat identification and management.
